It's been a fucking while since I posted something, due to a total no internet period at home.

The future posts will be more everyday life photography. I'll first post pictures from april I guess, may, june, july will soon follow. This post will be in the present soon.
First : Pictures from Karnaval der Kulturen. I discovered there are lots of parades in Berlin. This one was my first, it was about communities representing their culture, outfits and dances.

We finally ended up at Nancy's for a nice BBQ on her balcony for her housewarming party.

I'm working on this new "photo/video/installation" but I realised on the first tests yesterday that I will encounter a lot of technical issues. Random pictures of my new life

Here are some random pictures that I took from the past month in Berlin. It's the first time I've taken so many pictures in a such a short period of time. Most of them are only for the souvenir, I guess. I figured a new serie of portrait pictures but I didn't really make the pictures yet.
It's hard to think about photography when you spend all your time at german school and at looking for a flat.
I'm going to France next week. I hope it will be a good thinhking time to figure why I came to Berlin.

The first sunbeams finally arrive in Berlin. I decided to fight the sunday depression by beginning a new serie of photographs. I can't really define it for the moment but I'm quite enthusiastic. I just have to find some new models.

I used to spend many times at Coralie's place because we wrote some scripts together that I wish I will realize one day.
She always had some good tea and we drank many bowls while smoking and thinking what could make a good story.

Here are some pictures of Mathieu I took before Christmas. The winter light in his flat this afternoon was incredible. I was a bit deceives when I saw the pictures because a lot were blurry. But I'm very happy of these six ones.
I took pictures of two other friends in December. I'll post the pictures in the next few days.
I'm moving in Berlin next week I think. Maybe I'll be too busy in the first times to take many pictures. We'll see !

It's been a while I wanted to take some medium format pictures of Anne Laure. I finally did it as I was in Berlin last week.

This one was shot in the middle of the afternoon. I like winter light especially in Berlin.

I was in Berlin last week and I remembered that I shot a super 8 movie there one year ago. It was supposed to be the prologue of a short that I intended to do at this time. The film never existed, but I still had the super 8 in my fridge.

Here are three views of my neighbourhood. The first one is the Sacré-Coeur on the top of the Butte Montmartre, second one is the view from Romain's kitchen and the last one is the view from my room.

My sister left our appartment at the end of the summer and I will be forced to quit too at the end of january. I feel a bit sad leaving this place, where I lived for 6 years now.
On the other hand, I feel this is time for a change. But I'm still wondering if I could be able to live elsewhere or even if it's a good idea.

I met last night some old friends from the fine arts school and I realised that I need to find a new engagement, a diretion in what I do as a photographer. I've collected some old pictures and I posted them with brand new. They're all snapshots, but I think I'd like to work that kind of atmosphere.

We took a ferry boat with our car to reach the Isle of Skye. Romain wasn't at ease on it.

Scotland part 1

I've been in Scotland mid-September with Romain. He convinced me by showing pictures on Google Maps, he knows that these are exactly the kind of landscapes where I can imagine living in (without actually being able to live in such deserted places).

We were very lucky with the weather. Everytime I found the light beautiful, I took my old medium format camera out of my bag to take some pictures. I've got the four rolls I shot in my fridge waiting to recover some money to bring them to the lab. If I succeeded in manipulating this old mechanic shit, I'll publish them on this blog one day. ;)

This dog spent the end of his life waiting near the grave of his beloved master and have now his own grave (where there are always flowers and plushes) and this stupid statue.

His rabbit is called Jean-Pierre.

It's been a long time since I wanted to take some pictures of Wilfried. I'm interested of taking picture of people in their house as I did for Joelle. I think it creates some kind of an intimacy, because people are more at ease as in the street where people can look at them posing.
He was kind to accept because he had a hard night. He woke up just a few minutes before I arrive.

I spent a whole afternoon taking pictures of a friend. At the end of the afternoon, going back home, there was one last shot on the roll. I took a picture of Romain near the window. When I got back my pictures from the lab, only the picture of Romain was cool. I think, mostly because of the sun going right through the lens.

-To get my driving licence

-Make some public relations
-and (most important of all) believe in her artistic work

It's been a long long time since I shot in black and white. I wanted to try it again and I asked Joelle because I think she's the ideal model for black and white pictures.
